THE LIFESTREAM
The eternal river of energy that encompasses the earth, winding endlessly through out the land as its streams and channels extend in all directions and touch all living things. The Lifestream is the origin of life, where all things begin and are reborn. The Reaver is its keeper, returning the energy of all living things home after it has finished its journey.
THE REAVER
When the last breath of life escapes our bodies, and our spirits depart, the Reaver’s omniscient eye seeks us out. The light of a newly unleashed spirit shines brightly, and the energy they emit vibrates throughout the stream and calls to the Reaver. It is then that the Reaver’s endlessly roaming eye shifts its focus onto the dead, and it travels through the endless channels of the earth’s eternal energy to find that wandering soul and reconnect it with the Lifestream. Then united, the Reaver carries the spirit back to the stream and what was once split into separate halves is made whole once again.
THE SIGHTLESS EYE
Within the balance of Nature, a creature may be born with certain sensitivities to the energies of the earth. This creature is said to possess the “Sightless Eye” – the ability to locate the Lifestream and the spirits that pass through it. Creatures will the Sightless Eye can physically feel the flow of the Lifestream's energy, they can locate it because they can sense where it is. Many say it is like standing in the middle of a running stream - they can feel it run over them like warm water moving around and through them. Wolves with the Sightless Eye are often referred to as "enlightened wolves".
It is told that those who stumble across the Reaver itself feel the overwhelming burn of a bright light within their bodies, and they feel the frightening pull at their souls to depart. Despite the strength of this feeling, the Reaver will not collect a living creature. Instead, the Reaver will strengthen that creature’s ability. As rare as it is, finding the Reaver is much sought after for the energy boost and enlightenment the encounter provides.
