Wild and secretive, the Terrasyn pack dwells in the deep wilderness of the Northern forests. Led by a dominant, spiritual Alpha female – the pack consists of large, healthy wolves that prey primarily on elk, deer and hare. The territory includes a massive forest with a medium-sized lake and a stream descending from Amaroq Mountain. The Terrasyn wolves are highly spiritual, and have an intimate bond with Nature. They are fearsome hunters, territorial, and maintain a strong connection to their pack. Terrasyn values honor and integrity despite their seemingly savage existence. Terrasyn is one of the oldest wolf packs in Primeval's history, said to be one of the very first to be recognized. They currently have a dangerous rivalry with their neighbouring pack, Shadovale.

The Shadovale Pack is located in a massive canyon, filled with trees and long golden grass. They feed primarily off of buffalo, elk, deer, and occasional small game. Warriors, rogues and bandits, the Pack is known for having a reputation on the negative side. They pride themselves in their strength and have hearts of warriors, using strategies to take down their prey and to steal from other packs and wolves. They are considered lower class by the Terrasyn wolf pack, destructive and vile. They have spiritual beliefs, but those beliefs are not as strong as most wolves', and have a more war-based focus. They are located in the heart of the canyon, with a medium sized pool of water with a small waterfall, and multiple streams beyond that. The canyon has only one way in and one way out, giving them the advantage of the defending their own territory by blocking wolves in. The Shadovale pack is led by its male, dominant leader Aleut, a warrior who is not afraid to show brute strength and very little, if any, mercy. Wolves must be strong and versatile to withstand the harsh and hot environment of the territory, but Aleut prides himself on having the strongest, and most endurant wolves in Primeval.

Assassins, the insane, and the cruelest wolves in Primeval are those who bare the Blackheart name. Run like a militia, Blackheart sits on the edge of control and stability like a droplet of water on the edge of a blade. The pack has no real home, but meetings and gathering are held in the caverns beneath the Obsidian Cliffs. These wolves are dangerous, and can be hired by any wolf in exchange for food, allegiance, shelter, access to territory, and any other thing the assassin desires.

The Brotherhood is a pack of large, fearsome warriors who dwell within the rocky expanse of Ravenholm. These wolves gain the title of 'brother' after extensive and intense training, as well as a series of trials that prove them worthy of the duty a brother is bound by. Known for their high respect towards the female wolves in their pack, the Brotherhood values honor, integrity and valor above all else. Female wolves that are taken as mates by the Brotherhood are referred to as 'Queens' and are highly valued, protected and spoiled rotten by their warrior mates. Led by Locke, the Brotherhood was formed after the kidnapping of their beloved Alpha female by the ruthless Blackheart pack - Locke swore that he would fight the injustice and try to prevent unnecessary violence and evil within the lands. The Brotherhood hunts together as a unit and feeds primarily on large prey animals; hunting moose, mountain goat and bighorn sheep. Their territory expands from the small Ravenholm mountain range into the highlands. The terrain is rugged, and sits on the same massive stone shield that rests beneath the Northlands.
